Aquamentus: A type of dragon, who is
very strong.
Armos: A soldier who has been turned
into a stone statue. He will only attack when he is touched. They
are pretty strong, the same power as a Ghini.
Blue Candle: If you are in a dark room,
the blue candle will light it up.
Blue Ring: This reduces enemy damage
in half.
Bomb: Damage enemies or blow up walls. You
can also damage yourself if you get too close to the explosion.
Bombs explode approximately four seconds after you pick them
up. You must have a bomb bag to hold any.
Bow: This item uses launches wooden
or silver arrows. For every arrow Link shoots, he looses one ruby.
Some enemies can only be destroyed with an arrow.
Bubble: The spirit of the dead. If he grabs
onto Link, he won't be able to use is sword for a while.
Compass: This shows where a Triforce fragment
is hidden inside a labrynth.
Darknut: He is a very strong knight.
Digdogger: They are big sea urchins
who are quite strong.
Dodongo: A giant rhinoceros. It isn't
very strong but it can roll and bounce off walls.
Enemy Bait: This can lure the enemy
toward it, but some enemies are not effected.
Fairy: Finding one of these will restore
all of Link's hearts to red.
Ganon: The leader of an evil army; the
Prince of Darkness. He sent out his army to attack Hyrule's kingdom
and steal the Triforce of Power; they were successful. His ultimate
goal was to plunge the world into complete darkness and make
himself the feared ruler. Next he tried to go after the Triforce
of Wisdom, but Princess Zelda had already split it into
eight pieces and sent a man to destroy Ganon. Before Ganon
and his followers could collect the Tricorce of Wisdom, they
had to face one single foe, Link.
Ghini: The ghosts who live in the graveyard.
They are equally as strong as an Armos.
Gibdo: A pretty strong mummy.
Gibdos: This bandaged swathed menace
is quite powerful. A slash with a sword hardly fazes it, however
they hate fire.
Gleeok: A huge dragon with anywhere
from 2 to 4 heads.
Gohma: A very huge crab. It's shell
protects it from all attacks.
Goriya: A little devil that lives underground.
They use boomerangs as their weapon. There are blue ones and
also red ones. The blue ones are strong.
Heart Container: This increases Link's LIFE
hearts by one when he collects one.
Impa: She is the Royal Nurse of Princess
Zelda her personal body guard from birth. She was sent to find a
man that could defeat the evil Ganon.
Ladder: Link can cross holes or rives
that are as wide as he is.
Lanmola: A huge centipede which moves
very fast.
Like Like: A tube-like monster who loves
to eat shields.
Lynel: The guardian of Death Mountain.
He's strong and he will attack anybody who goes near Death Mountain.
Magic Book: This can be used to help
Link learn some new magic spells.
Magic Key: This is very useful. Link
can use this as many times as he wants, to open doors in a Labrynth.
Magic Shield: This is bigger than Link's
regualr shield. It can block more attacks too.
Magic Wand: This is the wand that Wizzrobe
uses. This is used to activate magic spells. If Link finds the Magic
Book, he can learn some new spells, like one that can shoot out
flames.
Magical Boomerang: The magical boomerang
goes farther than the wooden boomerang.
Magical Clock: This stops the enemy
from moving.
Magical Sword: This sword is four times
as strong as Link's regular sword and twice as strong as the White
Sword.
Manhandla: A large man-eating flower.
It has four hands ar each side; it moves faster as it loses a hand.
Map: This shows the entire layour of
the labrynth it was found in.
Molblin: A bulldog-like goblin who lives
in the forest. They are a bit more aggressive than an Octorok.
Moldorm: This grows smaller as it is
attacked. It isn't very strong.
Octorok: A type of octopus which lives above
ground. The blue ones spit rocks out.
Patra: They attack in groups and they
are pretty strong.
Peahat: This is a ghost of a flower.
They fly around, and rest ever once in a while. They can only be
attack while resting.
Pols Voice: A ghost who hates loud noise.
Power Bracelet: This allows Link to
lift heavy objects.
Princess Zelda: She is the princess
of the kingdom. She split the Triforce of Wisdom into eight pieces
in an effort to protect it from being stolen by Ganon and
his army. She was then put into prison by Ganon.
Raft: Link can float across seas and lakes
with this.
Red Candle: If you are in a dark room,
use the red candle to light up the room, as well as any nearby dark
rooms.
Red Ring: This reduces enemy damage
to one quarter.
Rocks: The are always falling from Death
Mountain.
Rubies: Rubies are the currency used
in the kingdom.
Rope: A poisonous snake who lives in
labyrinths, however it isn't very strong.
Shield: Link has this at the begging
of his adventure. He can use it to block basic enemy attacks.
Stalfos: A skeleton with a sword in
each hand. It is not very strong.
Sword: This is Link's main weapon. It
is effective against most enemies. There is also a White Sword and
a Magical Sword.
Tektite: These spidery thing jump all of
the place. The red ones move more than the blue ones.
Vire and Keese: Vire is a devil which
controls the keese. If a vire cut it turns into two keese. The keese
are weaker than a vire.
Wall Master: If it falls from the ceiling
and catches Link, he will be brought to the beginning of the labyrinth.
Water of Life: This will recover Link's
LIFE points. Once the red water turns blue, Link only has one more
sip left.
Whistle: A mysterious magical item.
It can warp Link to the entrance of the ninth labyrinth, once Link
has collected the last Triforce fragment.
White Sword: This sword is twice as
strong as Link's regular sword.
Wizzrobe: He is called The Master of
Movement. He shoots magic spells. He is pretty strong.
Wooden Boomerang: This is effective
against weak enemies. It can also stun most enemies.
Zola: A half-fish, half-woman who lives
in the water. She shoots out a ball when she sticks her head out
of the water.
Zol and Gel: They are jelly-like monsters
who bounce around. If a Zol is cut, it splits into two Gels. The
Zol is twice as strong as a Gel.
