 Ache: A bat that lives in dark places. They usually hang upside down for trees or in a cave.
 Agahnim: Ganon's pawn, who is being used to help break the seal of the Seven Wise Men.
 Ambi: Ambi is a Labrynnian queen from the past. She has been building Ambi's Tower, but recently the  villagers have begun to call it the Black Tower. Somthing has changed the queen's once kind nature.
 Anju: She works at the hotel in Clock Town. She is very friendly but she is having some personal trouble.
 Aquamentus: A type of dragon, who is very strong.
 Armor: This is the clothing Link starts off wearing. There are also Red mail and Blue mail. These can  reduce enemy damage from 25% to 50%.
 Armos: A soldier who has been turned into a stone statue. He will only attack when he is touched. They  are pretty strong, the same power as a Ghini.
 Autumn: Autumn leaves fall to the ground and cover holes. In this season, you can even pick mushrooms  that are rock-hard any other season.


 Bait Bag: This holds your bait. You can use bait to get information from the fish, fly seagulls, and other  things.
 Ball and Chain Trooper: He guards princess Zelda's jail cell, with a ball and chain whip.
 Barrier: One of Zora Link's special abilities. It generates an electric shock shock and can only be used  underneath water. Consumes magic.
 Big Key: You must have a big key in order to open big doors and big treasure boxes.
 Bipin: Bipin is a famous tree planter who grows Gasha Seeds, and will offer information about them. His  wife's name is Blossom. They have a child and you get to give it a name.
 Bit and Bot: A jelly-like creature that wobbles around. Bit is red, Bot is blue and can jump.
 Blossom: The wife of Bipin.
 Blue Candle: If you are in a dark room, the blue candle will light it up.
 Blue Potion: Completely restores all of your heart containers and your magic meter.You must have an  empty bottle to carry this.
 Blue Ring: This reduces enemy damage in half.
 Bomb: Damage enemies or blow up walls. You can also damage yourself if you get too close to the  explosion.  Bombs explode approximately four seconds after you pick them up. You must have a bomb  bag to hold any.
 Bomb Bag: This bag can safely store your bombs. It is made out of Dodongo skin. Different size bags can  be found.
 Bombos: One must wield the Master Sword in order to hold this medal. It sends explosive forces off of  Link's body engulfing the enemy in flames. Consumes magic.
 Bombchu: Pick up a bombchu and let it go; once it goes you have no control over it. It will run by it self in a  straight line. If it hits something or runs for a while it will blow up very similarly to a bomb.
 Bomber's Notebook: In Majora's Mask, you can keep track of your quests and the things you have done  for people.
 Book of Mudora: If you find something you cannot read, this book can help translate it.
 Boomerang: Most enemies will be stunned when hit with the boomerang, some enemies will be  destroyed. It can also be used to retrieve some distant items. (2) One of Zora Link's special abilities.  Attack by firing  the fin from each arm.
 Boots: (1) In different parts of the game you may need to use different boots. Kokiri Boots, Iron Boots, and  Hover Boots. (2) According to legend, it is said that when you don these boots, you can do something extraordinary.
 Boss Key: You need it to open the door to a boss's room.
 Boss Masks: These masks will be received upon defeating a boss.
 Bottle: You can store things in a bottle for later use. Probably one of the most useful things to store is a  fairy, as you will be instantaneously brought to live when killed.
 Bow: (1) This bow is found in the first palace. You must have arrows in order to use it. There is also a silver  bow hidden somewhere in Hyrule. (2) You can only use the bow if you have arrows too. Arrows can be found in many places; you can also  purchase them in a shop.
 Bubble: (1) One of Deku Link's special abilities. He can shoot a bubble, the bigger the bubble is the  stronger  it is. (2) The spirit of the dead. If he grabs onto Link, he won't be able to use is sword for a while.
 Bug Collecting Net:  There are bugs and other things you can catch with this net. Try seeing what you can  catch. You must have a bottle to store what you catch. You can get the net from a sick boy.


 Candle: Lights up dark places.
 Cane of Somaria: Link can create a large block with this. These blocks can be carried, thrown, and  pushed.
 Clock Town: The center town in Termina. This town is full of excitement.
 Compass: Displays location of treasure chest and boss rooms. It also shows your position and the  direction you are facing. It will only work in the temple you found it in. In A Link to the Past in just shows the  location of the Boss
 Crazy Tracy: This odd woman lives northeast of Mabe Village. They say that she can create secret  medicines.
 Cross: This allows you to see enemies that you normally can't.
 Crystal: You must find the seven crystal scattered throughout the Dark World.
 Crystal Switches: Inside a dungeon, a Crystal Switch acts as a toggle button for various events. Usually a  boomerang or your sword will be most convenient for hitting it.
 Cuccodex: This contains all the information know about Cuccos. Somebody might want this.
 Curl: One of Goron Link's special abilities. Curl into a ball to protect yourself and you can even roll around.


 Daira: An alligator-like soldier who uses an axe as his weapon.
 Darknut: He is a very strong knight.
 Darunia: Head of the Gorons. Darunia is well known throughout Hyrule and well liked.
 Deeler: They are spider-like enemies. They move up and down by a web suspended from a tree. There are  blue and red ones. The blue ones drop to the ground to attack Link.
 Deku Flower: Used by the Deku Scrubs to shoot out from and to fly around.
 Deku Leaf: You can send gust of air at your target. If you jump in the air and use it, Link will glide. And if  Link is outside he will glide in the direction of the wind. This consumes magic.
 Deku Link: You can transform into Deku Link when you wear the Deku Mask. He has the ability to fly  around for a  while, shoot bubbles, and hop across water. He is weak against fire, and also weak against  falling  from great heights.
 Deku Nut: Throw a Deku Nut on the ground to make a bright like. This temporarily stuns enemies (some  enemies are not affected).
 Deku Seed Bag: This bag can be used to hold Deku Seeds, which can be shot with the Fairy Slingshot.  Bigger bags can be found as well.
 Deku Shield: This simple shield is made of wood and can be destroyed by fire.
 Deku Stick: Held like a sword but it is much weaker. They also break very easily. Thy are best used as  torches.
 Deku Tribe: They are very interesting people. They live in a palace which is surrounded by the water that  flows from Woodfall. The King does not want any other races in his palace.
 Delivery Bag: This bag holds things that you give to people. For example, some people may ask you to  deliver a message for them of give somebody something, you keep them in the bag.  
 Digdogger: They are big sea urchins who are quite strong.
 Dimitri: He is a good swimmer, and he can even swim up waterfalls. Link can carry Dimitri around if  he has the power bracelet.
 Din: She is the Oracle of Seasons, and she controls the seasons in Holodrum. When she is captures by  Onox all of Holodrum goes out of control.
 Din's Fire: Fire will wrap arrond Link's body, protecting him from harm. This is helpful when surrounded  by a large number of enemies.
 Dodongo: A giant rhinoceros. It isn't very strong but it can roll and bounce off walls.
 Doll: A doll that really looks like Link. It increases Link's LIFE by one.
 Dungeon Map: A dungeon map shows all the rooms in a dungeon, including your current location. If you  don't have the dungeon map you will only see rooms that you have been in. The dungeon map only  shows the rooms in the temple you found it in.


 Ember Seeds: When this seed is cracked or shot, flames shoot out of it. They can be used to light  torches.
 Ember Tree: These trees bear Ember Seeds.
 Empty Bottle: Use them to store liquids or potions or whatever you can get to fit. 
 Enemy Bait: This can lure the enemy toward it, but some enemies are not effected.
 Epona: A beautiful strong horse who was raised on Lon Lon Ranch. He loves to hear Epona's Song.
 Ether: This charges Link's sword with a cold chill, freezing surrounding enemies. Consumes magic.


 Faerie: They will restore seven of your hearts. A faerie queen will restore all of your hearts.
 Fairy: (1) A magic spell which turns Link into a fairy; this allows him to fly. (2) They can restore your hearts.
 Fairy Bow: Shoot enemies or switches. You can also get three magic type arrows: Fire, Ice, and Light.  You need a quiver to  hold arrows. It works similar to the Fairy Slingshot.
 Fairy Fountains: The Great Fairies at fairy fountians can replenish your health.
 Fairy Ocarina: This has the same effect as the ocarina of time. It disappears when you receive the  Ocarina  of Time.
 Fairy Slingshot: You can use the slingshot to hit distant objects. Certain enemies will not be effected. You  must have Deku Seeds in order to shoot the slingshot.
 Farore's Wind: When this is used for the first time, a green light with surround Link's body, setting a warp  point. When used again, Link will be able to transport back to that point. You can also reset the warp  point.
 Fire: This magic spell will throw a fireball out of Links sword when he swings it. 
 Fire Arrows: Uses magic to create a cone of fire around the head of your arrow.
 Fire Rod: This shoots out a ball of fire at your target. This can burn enemies and also light torches.  Consumes magic.
 Fishing Pond: Just north of Mabe Village, there is a fishing pond which only cost ten rupees to enter.
 Flippers: These let Link swim and also dive underwater.
 Flute: (1) Link can play the legendary music of Hyrule with this. The sound rouses old powers. (2) Link will  be given the flute by a lonely lad. You will be able to fly from place to place with the flute. (3) Play your flute  to call a friend for help. If your friend is too far away to hear the flute, he may not come.
 Fortune Teller: The Fortune Teller will give you an idea of what to do next on your journey. He will also  heal you as a special bonus.
 Fragment: If you place one of these into a stone slab, you will get a hint on how to finish the dungeon.


 Gale Seeds: These make a tornado when cracked open allowing you to fly to any mystical seed bearing  tree that you have found so far. If you shoot on at an enemy it will be blown away (not all enemies will be  affected). 
 Gale Tree: These trees bear Gale Seeds.
 Ganondorf: This sinister man comes from the desert in the western part of Hyrule. He desires the  Triforce. Every 100 years a Gerudo male is born, he is to be king. Right now now Ganandorf has this  position and is miss using it.
 Gasha Seed: You can plant a Gasha Seed in a patch of soft earth found throughout the lands. After  planting a Gasha Seed, it will grow into a tree the produces a nut.
 Geldarm: A huge bug that stretches from the ground to the sky. Its only weak point is its head.
 Geldman: These sane-men take their refuge in the desert. They burrow underneath the sand and can  pop up and strike unexpectedly.
 Ghini: The ghosts who live in the graveyard. They are equally as strong as an Armos.
 Giant's Knife: This large sword is too heavy to hold with one hand. One of the Goron's will be glad to  forge you one for a fair fee. The Giant's Knife will break when it is over used.
 Gibdo: A pretty strong mummy.
 Gibdos: This bandaged swathed menace is quite powerful. A slash with a sword hardly fazes it, however  they hate fire.
 Gleeok: A huge dragon with anywhere from 2 to 4 heads.
 Gohma: A very huge crab. It's shell protects it from all attacks.
 Gold Leaves: You can trade these for dungeon keys.
 Golden Skulltula: These are the the spiders hidden all over the land of Hyrule. After killing one, Link will  recieve a Golden Skull Token. He can then exchange them in the Skulltula house in Kakariko Village for  various items.
 Goriya: A little devil that lives underground. They use boomerangs as their weapon. There are blue ones  and also red ones. The blue ones are strong.
 Goron Link: Link can transform into Goron Link when he wears the Goron mask. He has the ability to curl  up into a  ball and roll around and incredible speeds and also throw very powerful punches. Because he  is big and  strong he is  heavy, which prevents him from swimming and he is also weak against falling  from great  heights.
 Gorons: They live on Goron Mountain and Death Mountain under the leadership of Darunia. Their lives  have been threatened numerously.
 Goron's Bracelet: This bracelet allows Link to lift and throw Bomb Flowers found on Death Mountain.
 Goron People: They live on Death Mountain, an active volcano in northern Hyrule. They get their food from  the volcano. They are pretty nice people.
 Goron Tribe: They live in a small shrine east of Snowhead. They are used to extreme weather, but right  now there in an unusually cold front.
 Goron Tunic: Link will be able to tolerate intense heat if he is wearing this tunic.
 Grandpa Ulrira: This old man is knows just about everything there is to know about Koholint Island.  However, he doesn't like to talk a whole lot, so it can be difficult to get information out of him. His wife is  the loud old woman who loves sweeping the front of her house.
 Grappling Hook: Link can lock this onto certain objects and swing from them or climb up the rope.
 Great Moblin: He lives in his keep and will insist a toll for all those traveling by.
 Green Potion: Completely restores your magic meter. You must have an empty bottle to carry this.


 Hammer: It can be used to break rocks and cut down trees.
 Handy Glove: Link will be able to break the blocks in the palaces with his sword if he has this glove.
 Harp of Ages: Playing songs on this harp allows Link to travel through time.
 Heart Container: Earn a new heart when collected. All your hearts will be replenished when you receive a  heart  container. They are only found when you defeat a boss.
 Heart Piece: When you collect four of these, you will get an entire new heart container.
 Helmasaur: The armored head of this creature can withstand almost anything. They are vulnerable in  the  back.
 Hero's Bow: Use it to shoot at enemies and switches from a distance you can use common arrows  along with special magic arrows: Fire Arrow, Ice arrow, and Light Arrow.
 Hinox: These one-eyed super strong monsters are present in the Dark World. His weapon is bombs,  however they  can not stand bomb blasts themselves.
 Hookshot: It has a spring-like hook which allows you to grab onto certain objects, pulling you to that  object. It can grab distant items and also temporarily stun enemies.
 Hover Boots: Allows you to walk on the air for short periods of time.
 Hylian Shield: This shield is used by Hylian Soldiers. It is very strong.


 Ice Arrows: Makes a cone of ice around your arrow and creates a huge ice ball when it hits an object or  an enemy. Consumes magic.
 Ice Rod: This launches a freezing blast at your target. Weak enemies will automatically die on receiving  the blast, stronger ones will be frozen. Consumes magic.
 Impa: She is the Royal Nurse of Princess Zelda and her personal body guard from birth.
 Indigo-gos: A famous Zora band. They are popular with all races.
 Ingo: He is a short tempered man who works on Lon Lon Ranch. Ganandorf and him conspire together.
 Iron Boots: These very heavy boots allow you to walk underwater and hold you against strong gusts.
 Ironknuckle: An iron warrior chosen by the king. He can use a sword and shield. He also exists in many forms.


 Jewels: The jewels are treasure from days gone by. It has been said that something will happen once all  four of these mystical stones have been found.
 Jump: A magic attack which increases Link's jumping power.


 King Zora: The King of the Zora and Princess Ruto's father.
 Kokiri Boots: These are Link standard boots.
 Kokiri Forest: The Kokiri people live in this forest. It is also the dwellingplace of the Great Deku Tree.
 Kokiri People: These childlike people live in the Kokiri Forest. Each each Kokiri has a personal guardian  fairy. If they ever leave the Kokiri Forest their lives will come to an end.
 Kokiri Sword: The Kokiri Sword is hidden in the Kokiri Forest. It is a very small daggerlike sword that is  almost a treasure to the Kokiri People.
 Kokiri Tunic: This is Link's basic shirt, it has no special abilities.
 Koholint: A small uncharted island. The home of the Wind Fish.


 Ladder: Link can cross holes or rives that are as wide as he is. 
 Lanmola: A huge centipede which moves very fast.
 Lantern: The lantern can be used to light torches and to give light to dark rooms. Consumes magic.
 Leever: They live in the ground at take the energy from those who approach. Blue leevers are stronger  than the red levers.
 Lens of Truth: Use the Lens of Truth to see through trickery and deception and to reveal fake walls.
 Life: A magic spell that can recover Link's life points.
 Light Arrows: Creates a bright light when it hits an object or an enemy. Consumes a lot of magic.
 Like Like: A tube-like monster who loves to eat shields.
 Lon Lon Ranch: This ranch is owned by Talon. His daughter Malon takes care of the horses and her  favorite horse, Epona. The grumpy Ingo cares for the cows, and Talon takes care of the cuccos. It's a very  peacful place, and a lot can be found there.
 Longshot: Similar to the hookshot except it has a longer chain.
 Lowder: They eat life energy.
 Lynel: The guardian of Death Mountain. He's strong and he will attack anybody who goes near Death  Mountain.


 Magic Arrows: Link can add the following magic powers to his arrows: Fire, Ice, and Light. The power  must be found in order to use it.
 Magic Bean: Plant magic beans on soft soil and later on they will grow.
 Magic Book: This can be used to help Link learn some new magic spells.
 Magic Cape: Link will turn invisible while wearing this cape. He can even attack without being attacked  back. This consumes magic.
 Magic Container: Increase Link's MAGIC points by one.
 Magic Hammer: This can pound stakes and other obstacles into the ground. It can also be used on  some enemies.
 Magic Jar: Use these to refill you magic meter. There are small ones and big ones.
 Magic Key: This is very useful. Link can use this as many times as he wants, to open doors in a Labrynth.
 Magic Potion: When Link dies, his life energy will automatically be replenished. They can only be used  once and Link can only carry one at a time.
 Magic Powder: It has different effects on everything.
 Magic Rod: Attack enemies or light lanterns.
 Magic Wand: This is the wand that Wizzrobe uses. This is used to activate magic spells. If Link finds the  Magic Book, he can learn some new spells, like one that can shoot out flames.
 Magical Boomerang: The magical boomerang goes farther than the wooden boomerang.
 Magical Clock: This stops the enemy from moving.
 Magical Decanters: Big ones restore Link's magic meter, while small ones restore one eight of his  magic meter.
 Magical Mirror: This mirror can transport Link from the Light World to the Dark World. If Link is in a  dungeon, using the mirror will transport to him to the entrance.
 Magical Rings: These rings are made from Mystical Seeds. They each have their own special power.
 Magical  Warp Tiles: There are eight warp tiles throughout Hyrule. These are links to the Dark World.  These warp  tiles can generally be found beneath objects like bushes or boulders.
 Magnetic Gloves: The magnetic gloves let you pull or push metal objects away. If the metal object is fixed,  Link will be pushes or pulled. This can also be used to push or pull certain enemies.
 Maku Tree: (1) This huge tree is the guardian of Holodrum. In order to meet the Maku tree, one must  display  great courage. (2) This giant tree is Labrynna's guardian. Link is able to earn her favor by helping  her in the  past- when she was a young sprout.
 Malon: She lives on Lon Lon Ranch and she loves taking care of horses. Her father is Talon.
 Manhandla: A large man-eating flower. It has four hands ar each side; it moves faster as it loses a hand.
 Map: A dungeon map show the layout of all the rooms in the dungeon and also your current position.
 Maple: She is the apprentice witch of her grandmother. She often sneaks away from training and flies  around on her new broom. Occasionally, she will fly down and crash into Link.
 Marin: She saved you life when she rescued you from the wreck. She, in a peculiar way, reminds you of  Princess Zelda. She is a very musical woman who loves singing and wants to live away from Koholint..  She is friends with people, animals, and even some monsters. Her father is Tarin, the mushroom  collector.
 Masks: Masks can be borrowed from the Happy Mask Shop in Hyrule Castle Town Market. Then he must  sell it to an individual who is looking for one, possible making a profit, or even loosing money. The Happy  Mask Shop must be repayed for the mask after it is sold. After selling the Bunny Hood, Link will be able to  borrow some special masks, like the Mask of Truth.
 Megaton Hammer: Hit block or activate rusted switches. It can also be used as a weapon.
 Mirror Shield: It deflects special attacks and it also reflects light.
 Moa: A ghost who flies around in the graveyard. They are invisible to you unless you hold the cross.
 Moby: They attack swiftly from the sky. The do not have very much life energy, but they are hard to hit  because they move so quickly.
 Molblin: A bulldog-like goblin who lives in the forest. They are a bit more aggressive than an Octorok.
 Moldorm: This grows smaller as it is attacked. It isn't very strong.
 Moon: Everybody is worried that the moon is going to fall down on Clock Town.
 Moon Pearl: This will protect Link from being turned into a rabbit when he warps to the Dark World.
 Moosh: Link can sit on his back while he flies around. He can also pound the ground creating a great  force, hurting nearby enemies.
 Mr Write: He loves to read and is always writing letters. Many say that he writes to a charming young  woman in a far away city.
 Mushrooms:  You can find these in the Lost Woods. The witch can turn them into magic powder.
 Mystery Seeds: You never know what to expect with these seeds. They can be thrown on the owls in  dungeons for hints.
 Mystery Tree: These trees bear Mystery Seeds.
 Mystical Seeds: Special seeds which can be used for many things. Ember Seeds, Mystery Seeds, Scent  Seeds, Pegasus Seeds, and Gale Seeds.
 Mystical Trees: These are trees that bear magical Mystical Seeds and act as warp points when using  Gale seeds.
 Myu: A special slime with thorns protruding from its body.
 

 Navi: (1) Link's own fairy. He travels with Link to help him on his quest. (2) Tatl's brother.
 Nayru: As the Oracle wields power over the currents of time in Labrynna. She is a wise and serene young  woman who spends her days singing songs and wishing for peace.
 Nayru's Love: A blue light surrounds Link protecting him from enemy harm. It wears off after a short  period of time.
 Nightmare Key: You will need this to in order to enter into the Nightmares liar. It can on be used to open  the Nightmare door in the dungeon you found it in.


 Ocarina: The songs you learn will become useful on your adventure. You can play them on this ocarina.
 Ocarina Melodies: These are magical songs you will learn on your quest. Each song has a unique  power. They will be taught to you by various characters you come in contact with.
 Ocarina of Time:  A very mysterious ocarina given to you by Princess Zelda. Use it to play songs that you  have  learned. It works the same as the Fairy Ocarina.
 Octorok: A type of octopus which lives above ground. The blue ones spit rocks out. 
 Onox: The General of Darkness who is behind the chaos caused by the disruption of Holodrum's  seasons. He is very powerful and carries a large flail. He has cast a barrier of shadow around his castle  and plans to gather the powers of destruction from the dying lands of Holodrum.
 Owl: You will meet him every once in a while on your quest. He seems very wise, and is only there to help  you out a bit.
 Owl Statues: Throughout the game you will find owl statues. Hit them with your sword to activate them  and then you can play the Song of Soaring to warp to them later on. They can also be used to save your  game without playing the Song of Time and starting over.


 Patra: They attack in groups and they are pretty strong.
 Peahat: This is a ghost of a flower. They fly around, and rest ever once in a while. They can only be attack  while resting.
 Pegasus Boots: These let Link run at incredible speeds.
 Pegasus Seeds: These make Link run very fast. If you hit an enemy with one, it will freeze.
 Pegasus Tree: These trees bear Pegasus Seeds.
 Pegasus Shoes: These magic shoes have been passed down by the family of one of the Seven Wise  Men. They let you run very fast. You can get these shoes from the wise man Sahasrahla.
 Pendant: There are three pendants which Link must collect. One of them is carved with the Crest of  Courage, another with the Crest of Power, and the last with the Crest of Wisdom.
 Pictograph Box: The Pictograph Box is a camera used to take pictures with on the Boat Cruise Photo  Contest. It  can only hold one photo but you can retake the photo as many times as you want. In Wind  Waker it hold three pictures at a time.
 Piece of Heart: Collect four of these to earn a new heart piece. All your hearts will be replenish when you  receive a piece of heart.
 Poe Clock: If Link can help a wandering spirit move on to the afterlife will be given this clock.  Somebody must want this clock.
 Pols Voice: A ghost who hates loud noise.
 Pond of Happiness: This pond is found in the center of Lake Hylia. If you throw enough rupees into the  pond, you will find happiness.
 Pots: Pots have can somtimes have items hidden inside, or even switches beneath them. You must have  the Power Bracelet in order to pick them up.
 Pound: One of Goron Link's special abilities. Curl then jump into the air to strike the ground with a great  force. This will damage surrounding enemies.
 Powder Kegs: These huge bombs can only be handled by Gorons. They are much more powerful than  regular  bombs. They also have a much longer timer.
 Power Bracelet: This allows Link to lift heavy objects.
 Power Gloves: These gloves allow Link to lift rocks and other objects. The Titan's Mitts let Link lift even  heavier things.
 Princess Ruto: Zora's princess. She is a tomboy and she wants to marry Link when she grows up.
 Princess Zelda: She is the Royal Princess of Hyrule. She has the power to predict when evil is stirring.
 Punch: One of Goron Link's special abilities. This is a very strong punch that can damage enemies and  even break boulders.


 Quake: If Link drives his sword into the ground while holding this medal, the earth while shake violently.
 Quiver: Arrows can be held in the quiver. Different size quivers can be found in Hyrule.


 Raft: Link can float across seas and lakes with this.
 Ralph: Ralph is Nayru's hot-tempered childhood friend. His hastiness and lack of focus can somtimes  lead to trouble.
 Red Candle: If you are in a dark room, use the red candle to light up the room, as well as any nearby dark  rooms.
 Red Potion: Completely restores your heart containers. You must have an empty bottle to carry this.
 Red Ring: This reduces enemy damage to one quarter.
 Reflect: This magic spell can bounce back a magic spell cast by a magician in the palace.
 Ricky: He will carry Link in his pouch and hop around. He can throw a powerful punch.
 Ring Box: Link can store is Magical Rings in the Ring Box. To with Vasu to sort your rings.
 Rocks: The are always falling from Death Mountain.
 Roc's Feather: This makes your body as light as a feather. The level 1 feather lets you jump one space,  and the level to feather lets you fly around.
 Rod of Seasons: Link must stand on top of a tree trunk and swing the Rod of Seasons to just the current  season. You can only change to the seasons of which you have collected.
 Rubies: Rubies are the currency used in the kingdom.
 Rope: A poisonous snake who lives in labyrinths, however it isn't very strong.
 Rupees: Rupees is the general Hylian currency.


 Sacred Stones: After finding the three Sacred Stones and the Ocarina of Time, Link will be able to open  the door in the Temple of Time leading to the Sacred Realm.
 Sage Medallions: You will need to collect one Sage Medallion for each sage. There are six sages all  together. These medallions will be used in Ganon's Castle.
 Sail: You will need to purchase this sail in Windfall in order to ride The King of Red Lions (your boat).
 Saria: Link's lifelong friend who lives in Kokiri Forest.
 Scent Seeds: These seeds emit a smell which draws certain monsters toward it.
 Scent Tree: These trees bear Scent Seeds.
 Secret Medicine: When Link dies, all of his heart containers will be restored.
 Secret Shells: These shells are scattered throughout Koholint. If you find enough of these, something good is sure to happen.
 Seed Satchel: This hold your Mystical Seeds.
 Seed Shooter: You can shoot seeds at distant objects. The seeds can bounce off walls and other  objects.
 Shield: (1) A magic spell which temporarily raises Link's Life level. It also reduces enemy damage in half.  (2) The shield has three potential levels of power. A higher level shield can fend off more attacks  than a  lower level shield. (3) Use this to protect yourself from enemy attacks.
 Shovel: Dig holes in the ground.
 Silver Scale: This scale allows you to dive deeper underwater. There are also upgrades to this scale.
 Skull Kid: He has fell under the control of Majora's Mask. They also live in Kokori Forest.
 Sleepy Mushroom: Bring one of these to the Witch and she will make Magic Powder.
 Slingshot: This is a projectile weapon. You must have seeds in order to shoot.
 Small Key: Small keys are used to open locked doors. Each one can only be used once.
 Smithy's Shop: The blacksmith lives just east of Kakario village. He can improve your sword, but he  needs help from his missing partner.
 Snap Dragon: This creature will snap at anything that passes by.
 Spell: A magic spell to eerie magic spells. It makes the enemy tremble.
 Spoils Bag: You can keep different items you get from enemies in here. Such as different color ChuChu  Jelly, Skull Necklaces, etc. You can usually trade these things to certain people for things.
 Spring: Spring is the season when snow and ice thaw and many flowers start to blossom. The buds of  some flowers are hard as rocks until they blossom in the Spring.
 Staff of Byrna: This will create a beam around Link's body, protecting him from all damage. Consumes  magic.
 Staff of Somaria: This creates a block of pure magic powder when swung. The blocks can than be  pushed or thrown at an enemy, causing damage. If you hit a block with the Staff, it will shatter and the  fragments will damage nearby enemies. Consumes magic.
 Stalfos: A skeleton with a sword in each hand. It is not very strong.
 Stalfos Knight: A skeleton warrior stationed in the Ice Palace. Hitting him with your sword will not defeat  him.
 Stone of Agony: When you are near a hidden secret, your rumble pack will rumble; this only works if you  have received the stone of agony.
 Stone Slabs: If you place a fragment into one of these, you will get a hint on how to finish the dungeon.
 Stray Fairies: These fairies of various colors, can be found and collected inside of temples.
 Subrosians: The dwellers of Subrosia. They are strange people who wrap themselves in robes.
 Summer: In Summer, some lakes dry up under the hot sun. Many plants, like vines, grow particularly well  in this season.
 Switch Hook: Shoot this at distant objects to trade places with them. It also works on certain enemies,  allowing you to switch places with them.
 Sword: This trusty blade is Link's main weapon.


 Talon: He is Malon's father, and also own Lon Lon Ranch. He is known to slack of on his job a little  bit,  but  he is a nice guy.
 Tarin: Marin's Father. He is a bit careless but he is kind-hearted. He loves mushrooms and often goes to  the forest in search of some for his dinner.
 Tektite: These spidery thing jump all of the place. The red ones move more than the blue ones. 
 Tatl: A slightly bossy fairy. She accompanies Link in hopes of finding her younger brother.
 Telephone Booth: Using a phone is free, but who could you call?
 Telescope: You can use this to get a closer look at something. It has a zoom feature and also auto-focus.
 Termina: A mysterious land, yet similar to Hyrule. It is divided into four parts: The Snowhead Mountains,  Great  Bay, Woodfall, and Ikana Valley. Clock town is the center of this land. There is an annual carnival  there, but this year there are rumors that the moon will fall from the sky, so many people are fleeing from  the town.
 Thunder: This is a very strong magic attack which can damage all enemies on the screen. Link must be  very strong just to be able to cast it.
 Time Portals: This icon marks gaps in the currents of time used to travel between the past and present.  You must give power to the portals before you can enter them.
 Tingle Tuner: Connect a Game Boy Advance to your GameCube and Tingle will help you out on your  quest.
 Titan's Mitts: These gloves allow Link to lift very heavy objects that he cannot pick up with the Power  Gloves.
 Treasure Bag: A bonus bad which increases Link's experience points. Sometimes enemies will pop out  too.
 Tune of Ages: This tune with either move Link from past to present or present to past.
 Tune of Currents: This tune immediatly takes Link from the past and returns him to the present.
 Tune of Echoes: This tune gives power to the Time Portals, allowing Link to travel between past and  present.
 Tuni Nut: This nut is a symbol of Symmetry City. If anything happens to this nut, the city will fall into a  severe state of imbalance.




 Vasu: The owner of Vasu Jewelers and the only jeweler in Holodrum. He appraises rings and finds their  power for a small fee. He also  has two pet snakes that will take care of organizing your ring collection.
 Veran: Veran, who has disrupted the flow of time in Labrynna, is the Sorceress of Shadows, and is able  to possess the bodies of others and force them to do her bidding. Her plan is to control time from the  past to give her control in the present and fulfill her hidden desires.
 Vire and Keese: Vire is a devil which controls the keese. If a vire cut it turns into two keese. The keese are  weaker than a vire.


 Wall Master: If it falls from the ceiling and catches Link, he will be brought to the beginning of the  labyrinth.
 Water Hopping: One of Deku Link's Special abilities. He can take five hops across the water surface, if  he doesn't make it to land by then he will drown and start back from were he jumped.
 Water of Life: This will recover Link's LIFE points. Once the red water turns blue, Link only has one more  sip left.
 Whistle: A mysterious magical item. It can warp Link to the entrance of the ninth labyrinth, once Link has  collected the last Triforce fragment.
 Wind Waker: You must use this wand to conduct the songs that you have learned.
 Winter: Winter brings heavy snows and cold tempuratures that can freeze lakes and rivers. In winter,  some trees will be completely free of leaves.
 Wizzrobe: He is called The Master of Movement. He shoots magic spells. He is pretty strong.
 Wooden Boomerang: This is effective against weak enemies. It can also stun most enemies.



 Yoshi Doll: 


 Zola: A half-fish, half-woman who lives in the water. She shoots out a ball when she sticks her head out of  the water.
 Zol and Gel: They are jelly-like monsters who bounce around. If a Zol is cut, it splits into two Gels. The Zol  is twice as strong as a Gel.
 Zora Link: Transform into Zora Link by putting on the Zora Mask. He has the ability to swim quickly and at  will. He  can also create and electric current while under water and shoot arm fins at enemies who are far  away (this is  similar to a boomerang).
 Zora's Flippers:  You must speak to Zora the man-fish to get these slippers. Link cannot swim in deep  water without these.
 Zora People: These evolved fish live in Zora's Domain. They are excellent swimmers and live in the water.
 Zora Tribe: They live in the water and are excellent swimmers. They have a band called the Indigo-gos,  who are very popular with all races.
 Zora Tunic: Link will be able to breath underwater if he is wearing this tunic.
