 Agahnim: Ganon's pawn, who is being used to help break the seal of the Seven Wise Men.
 Armor: This is the clothing Link starts off wearing. There are also Red mail and Blue mail. These can  reduce enemy damage from 25% to 50%.


 Ball and Chain Trooper: He guards princess Zelda's jail cell, with a ball and chain whip.
 Big Key: You must have a big key in order to open big doors and big treasure boxes.
 Blue Potion: Completely restores all of your heart containers and your magic meter.You must have an  empty bottle to carry this.
 Bomb: Damage enemies or blow up walls. You can also damage yourself if you get too close to the  explosion.  Bombs explode approximately four seconds after you pick them up. You must have a bomb  bag to hold any.
 Bombos: One must wield the Master Sword in order to hold this medal. It sends explosive forces off of  Link's body engulfing the enemy in flames. Consumes magic.
 Book of Mudora: If you find something you cannot read, this book can help translate it.
 Boomerang: Most enemies will be stunned when hit with the boomerang, some enemies will be  destroyed. It can also be used to retrieve some distant items.
 Bottle: You can store things in a bottle for later use. Probably one of the most useful things to store is a  fairy, as you will be instantaniously brought to live when killed.
 Bow: This bow is found in the first palace. You must have arrows in order to use it. There is also a silver  bow hidden somwhere in Hyrule.
 Bug Collecting Net:  There are bugs and other things you can catch with this net. Try seeing what you can  catch. You must have a bottle to store what you catch. You can get the net from a sick boy.


 Compass: This points out the location of the evil master of the dungeon it was found in.
 Crystal: You must find the seven crystal scattered throughout the Dark World.
 Crystal Switches: Inside a dungeon, a Crystal Switch acts as a toggle button for various events. Usually a  boomerang or your sword will be most convenient for hitting it. .




 Ether: This charges Link's sword with a cold chill, freezing surrounding enemies. Consumes magic.


 Faerie: They will restore seven of your hearts. A faerie queen will restore all of your hearts.
 Fire Rod: This shoots out a ball of fire at your target. This can burn enemies and also light torches.  Consumes magic.
 Flute: Link will be given the flute by a lonley lad. You will be able to fly from place to place with the flute.
 Fortune Teller: The Fortune Teller will give you an idea of what to do next on your journey. He will also  heal you as a special bonus.


 Ganon: He wished on the Triforce to turn the Golden Land into a Dark world; he had his wish. Now he  also wishes to corrupt the light world. He must break the seal of the Seven Wise Men in order to do so.  With the help of Agahnim, this is going to become a reality unless it is stopped.
 Geldman: These sane-men take their refuge in the desert. They burrow underneath the sand and can  pop up and strike unexpectedly.
 Gibdos: This bandaged swathed menace is quite powerful. A slash with a sword hardly fazes it, however  they hate fire.
 Green Potion: Completely restores your magic meter. You must have an empty bottle to carry this.


 Heart Container: Earn a new heart when collected. All your hearts will be replenished when you receive a  heart  container. They are only found when you defeat a boss.
 Helmasaur: The armored head of this creature can withstand almost anything. They are vulnerable in  the  back.
 Hinox: These one-eyed super strong monsters are present in the Dark World. His weapon is bombs,  however they  can not stand bomb blasts themselves.
 Hookshot: It has a spring-like hook which allows you to grab onto certain objects, pulling you to that  object. It can grab distant items and also temporarily stun enemies.


 Ice Rod: This launches a freezing blast at your target. Weak enemies will automatically die on receiving  the blast, stronger ones will be frozen. Consumes magic.
 Impa: She is the Royal Nurse of Princess Zelda and her personal body guard from birth.






 Lantern: The lantern can be used to light torches and to give light to dark rooms. Consumes magic.


 Magic Cape: Link will turn invisible while wearing this cape. He can even attack without being attacked  back. This consumes magic.
 Magic Hammer: This can pound stakes and other obstacles into the ground. It can also be used on  some enemies.
 Magic Powder: It has different effects on everything.
 Magical Decanters: Big ones restore Link's magic meter, while small ones restore one eigth of his  magic meter.
 Magical Mirror: This mirror can transport Link from the Light World to the Dark World. If Link is in a  dungeon, using the mirror will transport to him to the entrance.
 Magical  Warp Tiles: There are eight warp tiles throughout Hyrule. These are links to the Dark World.  These warp  tiles can generally be found beneath objects like bushes or boulders.
 Map: A dungeon map show the layout of all the rooms in the dungeon and also your current position.
 Moon Pearl: This will protect Link from being turned into a rabbit when he warps to the Dark World.
 Mushrooms:  You can find these in the Lost Woods. The witch can turn them into magic powder.
 





 Pegasus Shoes: These magic shoes have been passed down by the family of one of the Seven Wise  Men. They let you run very fast. You can get these shoes from the wise man Sahasrahla.
 Pendant: There are three pendants which Link must collect. One of them is carved with the Crest of  Courage, another with the Crest of Power, and the last with the Crest of Wisdom.
 Piece of Heart: Collect four of these to earn a new heart piece. All your hearts will be replenish when you  receive a piece of heart.
 Pond of Happiness: This pond is found in the center of Lake Hylia. If you throw enough rupees into the  pond, you will find happiness.
 Power Gloves: These gloves allow Link to lift rocks and other objects. The Titan's Mitts let Link lift even  heavier things.
 Princess Zelda: You awaken one night to hear her voice calling you to save her. You don't know who she  is. She has been captured and put in prison.


 Quake: If Link drives his sword into the ground while holding this medal, the earth while shake violently.


 Red Potion: Completely restores your heart containers. You must have an empty bottle to carry this.
 Rupees: These represent the currency. You can earn them or find them; they can be hidden anywhere.  Green ones are worth one rupee. Blue ones are worth five rupees. Red ones are worth twenty rupees.


 Shield: The shield has three potention levels of power. A higher level shield can fend off more attacks  than a lower level shield.
 Shovel: Dig holes in the ground.
 Smithy's Shop: The blacksmith lives just east of Kakario village. He can improve your sword, but he  needs help from his missing partner.
 Snap Dragon: This creature will snap at anything that passes by.
 Staff of Byrna: This will create a beam around Link's body, protecting him from all damage. Consumes  magic.
 Staff of Somaria: This creates a block of pure magic powder when swung. The blocks can than be  pushed or thrown at an enemy, causing damage. If you hit a block with the Staff, it will shatter and the  fragments will damage nearby enemies. Consumes magic.
 Stalfos Knight: A skeleton warrior stationed in the Ice Palace. Hitting him with your sword will not defeat  him.
 Sword: The sword has four levels of power. The master sword has a power level of two.


 Titan's Mitts: These gloves allow Link to lift very heavy objects that he cannot pick up with the Power  Gloves.






 Wizzrobe: He is called The Master of Movement. He shoots magic spells. He is pretty strong.






 Zora's Flippers:  You must speak to Zora the man-fish to get these slippers. Link cannot swim in deep  water without these.
